A Minecraft village overlooked by a Cherry Blossom biome

I was found as a baby in the icey slopes of a mountain near a village overlooked by a beautiful cherry grove. Why I was left there is a mystery, but the kind people of the village took me in without question. When I asked later in life, I was told that the people there believed I was sent from The Aether to aid them. (It was a very religious town- home of three Clerics. And though the church raised me, I found this all rather hard to believe.)

Although the village was small, we had enough resources to grow plenty of food all year long, including in our forgiving winters. The farmers, of which there were two, taught me everything I needed to know about creating a reliable food source and nurturing every plant we had access to, including the magnificent cherry blossom trees.

The local blacksmith, a cranky old fellow who seemed to hate doing anything of use, didn't teach me much of anything. But while he was out drinking or sleeping in the fields, I used his equipment to teach myself the ways of the forge. Unfortunately for the townspeople, this meant by age 10, I was mining the coal out of the very village square. It wasn't until age 16 I was at the right skill to build them a new one and finally was granted the ability to venture out into the local caves.

I embarked on my first adventure! How excited I was. I packed up my belongings in a bundle: fresh pork-chops, apples, wood, and of course my trusty stone tools. I said goodbye to the clerics and the farmers, who have come to see me off at the town square. The blacksmith was, of course, nowhere in sight. I headed off into the cherry blossom grove, spirits high.

It was not even dusk when I reached a cave system in the side of a mountain. This, I thought, must be brimming with resources for me to find. I made my descent on the natural stair-like terrain. I found coal easily accessible, which I used to make a few more torches before pushing onward.

After a while, I reached what seemed like a dead end. Ready to turn around and find another cave, I heard a bat squeak. I looked around in confusion. It squeaked again. It was coming from the other side of the wall. I see! A false dead end. I broke into the rest of the dark cavern with my pickaxe. With the light from my torch, I saw a large cavern. Unfortunately, that's all I saw before my sight was filled with purple light- no... I was staring into a set of purple eyes.

I awoke under the golden light of stained glass windows. Where am I? I looked around the small room. Familiar cobblestone walls greeted me from the cherry blossom dyed sheets I lay on. It was my childhood room at the church. Downstairs I heard the telltale sound of the Cleric brewing potions. Could it have been... a dream? But why then did my bones ache so badly? I didn't climb down the ladder to the cleric as much as I stumbled down the short fall. He dropped his work in surprise and I am wrapped into warm and comforting arms.

He explained to me that I did, in fact, leave on my journey. That it had been weeks since he had seen me. When I explained my untimely end, he was overjoyed. What a strange reaction to telling someone you have passed a gruesome death, but he apologized for his celebration shortly after, explaining that he was simply excited about what this could mean. Again, my ears were filled with talk of The Aether: that I was sent here to help the village- the world- and that this was proof. This time... I was inclined to believe him.
